"Perhaps a modern society can remain stable only by eliminating adolescence, by giving its young, from the age of ten, the skills, responsibilities, and rewards of grownups, and opportunites for action in all spheres of life. Adolescence should be a time of useful action, while book learning and scholarship should be a preoccupation of adults."

—Eric Hoffer (1902-83) American philosopher

Library Policies

Document Actions

A library exists to provide a place to view materials, gather information, learn or sit and read. Libraries provide materials in many formats including electronic formats and these can be used in the library. Because so many people are doing many different types of activities it is necessary to maintain an environment that is conducive to these pursuits. The following policies govern how we use our library.
